Kim Kardashian enjoyed a peaceful weekend at home with her younger kids while her eldest daughter, North West, had a star-studded night out in New York City.
On Saturday, August 17, BMF star La La Anthony shared a heartwarming photo on her Instagram Stories of 11-year-old North West posing alongside Anthony’s son, Kiyan, 17, by the marquee for Hell’s Kitchen, Alicia Keys’ Broadway musical. The proud moms couldn’t help but show off their kids’ smiles as they posed after a night of theater magic. Anthony captioned the snap, “A beautiful night on Broadway with @kiyananthony and North,” adding her praise for the show: “Hell’s Kitchen is a masterpiece!!!” Keys, 43, was tagged in the post, as was Kardashian, 43, who also posted the image on her own Stories.
While North embraced her theater kid side in New York, Kardashian and her three younger children — Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5 — opted for a quiet Saturday night at home. In an Instagram post from the SKIMS founder, the family of four was seen cuddling up in bed. Kardashian looked relaxed in a no-makeup look, wearing a black hoodie as she enjoyed the cozy moment. Chicago rested her head on her mom’s shoulder with a sweet smile, while Saint, ever the comedian, made a goofy face, and Psalm covered part of his face with his hands. Kardashian simply captioned the post: “Home.”
Kardashian and Anthony share a close friendship, which was highlighted once again in the photo of North and Kiyan. Just last week, Deadline announced that the two will star together in an upcoming Hulu series titled All’s Fair. Anthony has previously spoken about how great it is to work with her best friend, particularly when they collaborate on projects like Anthony’s nonprofit, ThreeSixty, which helps rehabilitate young men incarcerated at Rikers Island in New York City.
“She’s my best friend, so it’s great to have a better friend that you can bounce ideas off of or say, ‘What do you think about this?’” Anthony said in a March interview with PEOPLE. She also praised Kardashian’s legal expertise, as the reality star continues her studies to become a lawyer. “It’s great to say, ‘Hey, what does the law say in this situation?’ Or, ‘What would you do here?’”
Meanwhile, the Kardashian kids have been making the most of their summer before heading back to school. Earlier this month, Kardashian posted adorable photos of all four children enjoying a lakeside camping trip. “Summertime Funtime,” she captioned the post, which included group shots of the siblings, pictures of them dining at a restaurant, and stunning views from the trip.
As summer winds down, it seems the Kardashian-West kids have been keeping busy with both family fun and big city adventures, all under the loving care of their famous mom.
