This holiday season and in the upcoming year, Alan Jackson and his spouse Denise have plenty to be thankful for. Two days before to their anniversary celebration on Wednesday, December 13, the 43-year-married couple welcomed their first grandchild into the world.
Alan and Denise were high school sweethearts who got married on December 15, 1979, at the ages of 21 and 19, respectively. They never got divorced and eventually got back together after their nearly two-decade separation.
Mattie Denise Selecman (born 1990), Alexandra Jane “Ali” (born 1993), and Dani Grace (born 1997) are their three daughters. Denise and Alan are the first in their family to become grandparents, even though Ali is the middle child and the first to become a parent.
To commemorate the happy occasion, Alan Jackson posted an Instagram picture of him and his spouse cuddling their baby. Alan was sitting on a couch next to Denise, who was holding their newborn in her arms, while donning his trademark Cowboy hat. There was a discernible “grandparent glow” now.

Alan had posted a new picture of himself and his spouse a few hours prior, this one commemorating 43 years of marriage. Happy Anniversary to Alan and Denise! Everyone, the singer captioned the photo. after observing that the pair had received hundreds of well-wishes in the comments section.
The news surfaced about three weeks after Ali was visibly pregnant in a family portrait that Alan Jackson shared on Instagram in front of his large fireplace. Alan and his family, which consists of his wife, their three kids, and their partners. Oh, and there were their two dogs as well.
In his remarkable forty-year career, Alan Jackson has put out sixteen studio albums, three compilations of his “Greatest Hits,” two gospel albums, and two Christmas albums. With 75 million records sold worldwide, 44 million of which were in the US, he holds the record.
The Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award for Alan Jackson at this year’s Country Music Awards, hosted by Peyton Manning and Luke Bryan, wasn’t a surprise. It honors “an legendary performer who has achieved the highest degree of recognition in Country Music.”

The Georgia Music Hall of Fame (2001), Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame (2018), and Country Music Hall of Fame (2019) have inducted Jackson during the previous 20 years. He said, “I’ve obviously lived the American dream,” emphasizing that he still did.
