If you have been keeping up with the news, you are probably aware that singer Jennifer Lopez has been going through quite a hard time recently. The reviews for her last album were overwhelmingly negative, and then rumors came out about her marriage to Ben Affleck being in trouble.

Then the singer announced that she was canceling her long-awaited This Is Me… Live tour. Now, she is personally addressing everyone about how she is feeling.

Less than a week ago, the announcement that singer Jennifer Lopez was canceling her long-awaited ‘This Is Me… Live’ tour came. The tour was scheduled for more than thirty cities and in support of her latest album, ‘This Is Me… Now.’

Lopez last went on tour in 2019. The tour grossed over $50 million, and she played at sold-out venues across the nation.

Representatives from Live Nation said in a statement about the cancelation, “Jennifer is taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends.”

Lopez herself expressed her regrets in a message to her fans via her newsletter ‘OnTheJLO’ on May 31st. She wrote, “I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down.” It went on, “Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary. I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again. I love you all so much. Until next time…”

A source revealed to the media that the singer canceled her tour because “she wants to focus on her family and the stress from it has been a lot for her.”

The tour was set to begin on June 26 in Orlando, Florida, being produced by entertainment giant Live Nation. Lopez was scheduled to make stops all across North America, including Miami, Los Angeles, Toronto, New York City and more before she ended the tour on August 31st in Houston, Texas.

The decision to cancel her tour comes at a time when media speculation around the singer and her marriage to actor Ben Affleck is at an all-time high. The rumors that the couple is going through a separation are rife, with neither of them commenting on their validity.

The couple tied the knot in July 2022 after a whirlwind romance they reignited after two decades. However, rumors of their split started gaining traction in early May as the couple had not been photographed together for over a month. And people also noted that they were not appeared on one anothers’ side at major public events.

A source revealed that the couple were dealing with some problems; they said, “Jen has been feeling pressure with all her work commitments and Ben is more chill and doesn’t care about Hollywood and the stuff that comes along with it. He feels like ups and downs are part of life and everyone has these moments.” Adding, “They went back into their relationship hoping that any past issues wouldn’t repeat themselves, but unfortunately, some of them are.”

The source went on to share that Affleck had been “trying to do his best when it comes to his career, co-parenting, and being a good partner, but feels overwhelmed.”

Affleck shares his three children with ex-wife Jennifer Garner. Their children are Violet, 18, Fin, 15, and Samuel 12. Lopez is also mother to 16-year-old twins Emme and Max, whom she shares with her ex-husband Marc Anthony.

“Ben and Jen don’t want to get divorced and are saying they won’t, but their relationship is simply not working at this point,” the source revealed. Adding, “They aren’t done yet and want to fix things because they love each other, but they are also both unhappy.”

However, in her latest personal message to her fans via her OnTheJLO newsletter, the singer revealed that she is not letting the negativity get to her. She wrote in her message, “Hi everybody, I just found out some great news and it’s all because of YOU!!” Lopez, 54, wrote. “ATLAS is #1 worldwide again this week!!! Thank you all so much!!!”

She went on to add, “It may seem like there’s a lot of negativity out in the world right now…but don’t let the voices of a few drown out that there is soooo much love out there.” She went on to thank her fans saying, “Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I love you all so much.”

While Lopez touched upon the negativity and criticism, she did not specify whether it was about the negativity in the media surrounding her personal life or the state of the world at large. Fans, however, interpreted her message in reference to the rumors about her split from Affleck and criticism over her decision to cancel the tour.
