MEGHAN MARKLE AND HUSBAND HEADED FOR ‘PROFESSIONAL SPLIT’ WITH NO RECONCILIATION IN SIGHT

Following a relatively tranquil 2023, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, are reportedly charting distinct paths. They recently initiated a significant rebranding effort, transitioning their Archewell website to Sussex.com. Additionally, they publicly declared the royal title as a surname for their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, marking a noteworthy step towards independence.

In an unexpected turn of events, Meghan Markle revealed her partnership with the female-led company Lemonada for the relaunch of her podcast. This move comes after the podcast was discontinued by Spotify last summer, signaling a fresh start for Markle in the realm of digital media.

Amidst these developments, the author of “The Spare” finds himself deeply immersed in philanthropic endeavors, notably with The Invictus Games, while also grabbing attention for his recent solo interview on Good Morning America.

Royal author Daniela Elser, in an article for News.com.au, offered her perspective: “The past week has witnessed significant announcements from both Harry and Meghan, with new business ventures and high-profile TV appearances. However, what sets these developments apart is that they each only involve one half of the once inseparable professional duo.”

Elser emphasized the significance of this shift, declaring, “Mark the time, note the date. Harry and Meghan Inc. are officially no more.” She highlighted their sole remaining joint project, a multi-million-dollar deal with Netflix, stating, “Remove that, and the duke and duchess find themselves on entirely separate trajectories.”

“It’s evident that they’ve abandoned attempts to market themselves as a single entity to corporate giants and the world,” Elser remarked. “They have now distinctly decoupled. The reunion of this partnership seems highly unlikely,” she concluded.
