Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson’s daughter, True, has officially started first grade!
On Tuesday, August 27, both Kardashian, 40, and Thompson, 33, took to Instagram to celebrate True’s big milestone with heartwarming tributes. The Cleveland Cavaliers player shared a carousel of photos set to Bruno Mars’ song “Just the Way You Are.” The first photo features Thompson with True, who is holding her cat, Grey Kitty. In another shot, True is seen beaming with her hands on her hips. Thompson also included adorable snaps of True with her 2-year-old brother, Tatum, one of which shows her holding Tatum’s hand while flashing a peace sign.
In his caption, Thompson reflected on how quickly time has passed and expressed his pride: “Twinny first day of 1st grade Time flies my [by] wow! I know Gigi’s [Tristan’s late mother] looking down on you and she is sooo proud of you and how amazing you are and how you’re the best big sister. I love you Tutu ♥️”
Kardashian also shared a series of photos, set to Bill Withers’ “Lovely Day,” expressing her pride and excitement for True’s upcoming year: “First Grade!!! True I am so proud of you!! I know you’re going to have the most incredible year ahead of you! I couldn’t be happier for you my angel,” Kardashian wrote. “I’m not ok but I’ll pull it together by pick up time ”
For the occasion, the co-parents went all out with decorations, including a giant crayon box labeled “First Day of First Grade” under a vibrant balloon arch. Despite the elaborate setup, both Thompson and Kardashian kept their outfits casual: Thompson wore a brown plaid button-down with black pants, while Kardashian opted for black leggings, a black zip-up hoodie, and sneakers. True looked adorable in her school uniform, a plaid skirt and a white polo shirt, while Tatum sported printed navy shorts and a matching button-down shirt.
Thompson also has sons Prince Oliver, 7, with model Jordan Craig, and Theo, 2, with model Maralee Nichols.
