Kim and Khloé Kardashian played hosts to friends and family with a rustic getaway in Idaho before jetting off to Michael Rubin’s famed 4th of July bash.
The sisters brought their children and invited their friends to bring theirs for the gathering at Lake Coeur d’Alene.
Kim, 43, took charge of the wave runner, wearing a black one-piece swimsuit paired with knee-length scuba shorts. The Skims founder pulled her long, dark hair back into a ponytail and seemed to be wearing nothing but sunscreen and sunglasses on her face, showcasing her natural beauty.
Khloé, 40, opted for a strappy black camisole and ankle-length black leggings, along with white socks and sneakers. The Good American founder let her long auburn locks hang down her back as she was chauffeured across the lake. She, too, wore dark sunglasses and appeared to be makeup-free.
In addition to her four kids—North, 11; Saint, 8; Chicago, 6; and Psalm, 5—the influencer brought her dog Sushi along for the trip. Several chaise lounges with blue cushions were placed along the beach so guests could recline and enjoy conversations while keeping an eye on their children.
Some of the children wanted to try paddle boarding. Chicago and Psalm were seen enjoying a ride on the wave runner with their mom. All three wore swim vests as a safety precaution. North was spotted chatting with some of her friends after a swim. The tween looked sweet wearing a blue jersey with the number 80 on it over her swimsuit while hanging out by the shore.
As the temperatures dropped, the Skkn by Kim founder changed into black leggings with a black sweatshirt and let her hair down. She bought her Idaho getaway in November 2020.
The 4,544-square-foot custom-built estate features a house with five bedrooms and six bathrooms. In addition to breathtaking views of the lake, it boasts a two-car garage and a separate golf cart garage. The interior features an open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area leading out to an oversized deck with plenty of room for entertaining. There’s a large wine cellar in a daylight basement and an outside patio featuring a jacuzzi and a lush lawn.
“The home is in a peaceful community with its own security and the private Gozzer Ranch Golf and Lake Club, which the family has been seen at on occasion,” an insider told The U.S. Sun in 2023. “It has a restaurant and bar, outdoor dining area for members, a private beach, jet skis and paddleboards, and huge inflatable waterslides for the kids to enjoy.”
After buying the house, Kim called the Idaho property her “happy place.”
