Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet Keep Romance Under Wraps Amid Busy Schedules
Kylie Jenner has been in a private relationship with A-list actor Timothée Chalamet for just over a year. Despite their high-profile status, the Kylie Cosmetics founder, 26, and the Wonka star, 28, have managed to keep their romance out of the public eye, and Kylie has no intention of discussing it on her family’s reality TV show, The Kardashians.
A source told PEOPLE that Kylie is “very protective” of her relationship with Timothée and has avoided mentioning him on camera. The insider shared that Kylie is happy and that the couple is making time for each other despite their busy schedules.
“Things are great with Timothée. Kylie is happy. They are both busy but making time to see each other, especially on the weekends,” the source said.
Kylie, who is based in Los Angeles with her two children, has been visiting Timothée in New Jersey, where he has been filming a Bob Dylan biopic since May. Despite the distance, the couple has been making their relationship work.
“He’s been working in NYC. She’s visited him, and he’s also been back to LA some weekends. They’re making it work,” the source added. “Kylie is protective of the relationship, but whenever she talks about him, she has a huge smile.”
Unlike her family members who have shared intimate details of their personal lives on The Kardashians, Kylie has kept her relationship with Timothée under wraps. The show, now in its fifth season, has documented Khloe Kardashian’s struggles with Tristan Thompson, Kim Kardashian’s tumultuous divorce from Kanye West, and Kourtney Kardashian’s active sex life with husband Travis Barker. However, Kylie has yet to mention Timothée on camera.
The couple went public in September 2023, but it’s believed they started dating in April 2023, following Kylie’s split from Travis Scott in December 2022. Kylie and Travis share two children: Stormi, six, and Aire, two. While Kylie kept most of her five-year on/off romance with Travis off TV, her relationship with Timothée has been even more private.
The season five premiere of The Kardashians showed Kylie at Paris Fashion Week, where she was spotted with Timothée. However, he did not appear in the episode, nor was he mentioned. Fans speculated that Kylie hinted at her relationship with Timothée in a teaser for the show, but the connection was never confirmed.
Recently, Kylie and Timothée were photographed together for the first time since attending the Golden Globes in January. They were seen wearing face masks at the TCL Chinese Theatre for a movie night. The couple also had a double date in New York City in May but managed to keep a low profile.
